About Me
Hi there! I'm Nick Martin, the creator of NoobyNet — a software engineer who likes taking things apart to understand how they work, then writing up what I learned.
My day-to-day spans web development and mobile development, building for iOS and Android and digging into the modern JavaScript APIs that browsers expose to mobile clients. I'm increasingly focused on AI — from working with large language models and agentic tooling to weaving AI into real products and workflows.
Outside of app work, I spend a lot of time in infrastructure and DevOps: Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. I'm also a relentless tinkerer with Linux, hardware, and homelab projects — soldering UART adapters, coaxing new wireless chipsets to behave, and debugging the obscure failures nobody else has hit yet.
This blog is where I document those technical explorations, write about my projects, and share guides and tutorials for fellow developers. Feel free to check out my latest posts on the home page or connect with me on GitHub.
